Prof. Samit K. Ray delivered a talk in "Flatlands and Beyond: a meet on 2D Materials (F&B2DM)" conference on 6th Sept' 2019. Title of the talk: Light-Matter Interactions in Plasmonic Hybrid WS2 Layers, where he discussed about the different aspects of plasmonic hybrids of 2D materials, their applications and physics of fundamental interest. Mr. Rup K. Chowdhuri, Mr. Tamal Dey, Mr. Subhajit Jana, and Ms. Shreyasi Das were also attending the F&B2DM conference, held at S. N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences during 5-6 Sept, 2019.
Dr. Subhrajit Mukherjee, Project Scientist and an ex research fellow from our group, is leaving us for his next destination in Technion- Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel, as a Post Doctoral Fellow. On this occasion, Prof. S.K. Ray handing over a small memento to Dr. Mukherjee. Best wishes for his future endeavours.
Prof. Samit K. Ray delivered a talk on electron beam lithography in INDIA NANO 2019: Workshop on Nanolithography and Nanofabrication organised by RAITH INDIA at SNBNCBS on 09th July, 2019. Mr. Tamal Dey, Ms. Shreyasi Das and Mr. Hasmat Mondal from our group attended the workshop & Tamal delivered an Oral presentation on the various aspect of nanofabrications done by our group using the Electron Beam Lithography system in IIT Kharagpur.
